March 1970 Hi-Performance Cars
Fair Condition – Magazine is complete with some noticeable cover wear and creasing. The spine shows some above average use-wear including a 2-inch separation at the top and the magazine pages are in excellent condition and slightly yellowed mostly around the edges due to age.
This issue includes: Chevy big-bore, short-stroke rat engine; A look at the history of the Corvette; The Dodge Yellow Jacket; The Marco Polo Funny Car Manufacturers Championship; Hot Tips on Setting up a big-block Camaro for the streets; NHRA Dallas World Finals coverage; Mario Andretti’s mechanic – Jim McGee profile; Mike Burkhart’s Nova funny car feature; Trans-Am racing Championships; OCIR’s Bug-In coverage; Kenny Warren’s Virginia Twister Dodge Charger funny car feature; 1970 Boss Cougar road test; Adams & Enriquez dragster feature; Coverage of the Baja 1000 off-road race; plus more great editorial, features, and vintage photos.
Not in the best condition still a fantastic issue of Hi-Performance Cars magazine.
