October 1952 Hot Rod Magazine
Good Condition - Magazine is complete with some noticeable wear and creasing and the spine is separated from the bottom half way up from the bottom, but is still attached. The pages are in excellent condition and show some slight yellowing mostly around the edges from age.
This issue includes: Frenching your headlights the George Barris way; Preview of the 1952 Bonneville National Time Trials; David Linebaugh’s modified Kaiser 88 feature; Tom Beatty’s drop-tank Lakester feature; Drag racing coverage from the Redwood Timing Association; Vic Hickey’s jeep feature and test; Parts with Appeal featuring model Pat Channing; Last of the Ford Aluminum Blocks; Stroker McGurk cartoon; plus more insightful editorial, vintage photos, and great features.
Another great piece of Hot Rod history from the magazine that started it all.
